Stone’s reporting has appeared in OneZero, Marker, ABC News, The Wall Street Journal, Forbes, VICE, The Atlantic, The BBC, SKY News, KGO Radio, Cosmopolitan Magazine, Wired Magazine, OZY, Smithsonian, The Washington Post, and other places. She’s the author of Killer Looks: The Forgotten History of Plastic Surgery in Prisons (Prometheus Books, 2021) as well as the children's book, The Future Of Science Is Female: The Brilliant Minds Shaping the 21st Century, (Mango Publishing, 2020). Her areas of specialty include women in STEM, cosmetic surgery, plastic surgery, appearance bias, and the prison industrial complex.
